My focus has been to spend less and save more for the future while                                                              
investing today in jobs and economic growth and strengthening                                                                   
families. The mental health operating and capital budgets presented for                                                         
legislative consideration this past session were designed to meet these

goals and preserve programs and services important to Alaskans. I                                                               
appreciate the careful consideration and support from the Legislature
